Taare Zameen Par - Taare Zameen Par

Playback - Shankar Mahadevan, Bugs Bhargava, Vivinenne Pocha

Music - Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy

Lyrics - Prasoon Joshi

Taare Zameen Par is Aamir Khan's debut film as producer and director and he looks nice even at 40+ and very similar to what he looked in Dil Chahta Hai.. nice look and nice film :)

This one though, looks a little more serious.. though I would assume there would be a fun element to it as well considering there are kids in the movie.

Coming to this song, the initial beats with which the song starts actually gives me the feeling of the stars coming down, darkness and the stars twinkling and the moon shining bright!

It's got nice music that sounds peaceful and melodious.

I like the way Shankar Mahadevan takes the verses high.. nicely done.. first soft and slow and then increasing the beat one notch..

If you pay attention to the music.. it reminds me of moments from the film "Swades" .. I think it's the sound of the shehenai..

The nice lines are:

Jaise Aankhon Ki Dibiya Mein Nindiya
Aur Nindiya Mein Meetha Sa Sapna
Aur Sapne Mein Mil Jaaye Farishta Sa Koi
Jaise Rangon Bhari Pichkari
Jaise Titliyan Phoolon Ki Kyari
Jaise Bina Matlab Ka Pyara Rishta Ho Koi

Like.. you tell children bed time stories and then.. if you be good, there will be a nice angel that will do you good :)

How cute!

Yeh To Aasha Ki Lehar Hain
Yeh To Ummeed Ki Sehar Hain
Khusiyon Ki Nehar Hain
Kho Na Jaaye Ye Taare Zameen Par

Kabhi Baatein Jaise Dadi Nani
Kabhi Chalkein Jaise Mum Mum Paani
Kabhi Ban Jaaye Bhole
Sawaalon Ki Jhadi
Sannatey Mein Hansee Ke Jaise
Sooney Hothon Pe Khushi Ke Jaise
Yeh To Noor Hain Barse Gar Teri Kismat Ho Badi

Jaise Jheel Mein Lehraye Chanda
Jaise Bheed Mein Apne Ka Kandha
Jaise Manmauji Nadiya
Jhaag Udaye Kuch Kahe
Jaise Baithe Meethi Si Jhapki
Jaise Pyar Ki Dheemi Si Thapki
Jaise Kaanon Mein Sargam
Hardam Bajti Hi Rahe
Jaise Barkha Udati Hai Bundiya...

There is light at the end of the tunnel.. don't give up :)

It's a sweet melody, do hear it!

Aaja Nachle - Aaja Nachle

Playback - Sunidhi Chauhan

Music - Salim - Sulaiman

Lyrics - Jaideep Sahni & Piyush Mishra

Aaja Nachle, the title song of the film more than a delight to the ears, is a delight to the eyes.

It's great to watch Madhuri Dixit dance so well and with such grace and ease.

Sunidhi Chauhan has sung the song well & it's been brilliantly choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant (current judge of Nach Baliye 3 on Star Plus)

The song's actually a teaser of some sort in the film, to attract audiences to watch the final act.

There is also a Reprise version of the song which has a little more beat to it.. some sort of remix version so to say which is also nice.

There's also been this silly controversy regarding one particular line in the song (not like your hurting the sentiments of a particular religion or someone in particular!! I personally think, it's just simple publicity that people want by doing silly things like this, and yea.. the song has been edited , courtesy...)

And for the benefit of people who still haven't made it to the theater to watch, here's a snippet :

Ishq Hua - Aaja Nachle

Playback - Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal

Music - Salim - Sulaiman

Lyrics - Jaideep Sahni & Piyush Mishra

This song's picturised on Konkona Sen & Kunal Kapoor in the film and how love blossoms between them while they're working in and as Laila - Majnu to save Ajanta a place for Art & Theater where Madhuri learnt dance and is now back to save it from demolition.

I think it's a really sweet, soft and melodious song.. well sung by Sonu Nigam - as usual :)

From the song, I like the lines:

Kadmo ko sambhale
Nazaro ka kya karein

Nazro ko sambhale
to Dil ka kya karein

Kadmo ko sambhale
Nazaro ka kya karein

Dil ko sambhale zubaan
Ishq hua hi hua

Esi chale jab hawa
Ishq hua hi hua

Sweet song, do get it if still don't have it.. and yes, Madhuri Dixit looks gorgeous as usual even at 42 and being a mother of 2!! I'm inspired :)
